Volunteer responsibilities may include:

  • Making and serving popcorn

  • Pouring fountain drinks

  • Serving alcohol (must be 21+)

  • Microwaving food

  • Prepping food for rentals

  • Assisting patrons to their seats with their purchases

  • Cleaning the house: sweeping up between movies,
    blowing out the theatre, mopping small spills,
    taking out trash

 

Most shifts are less than 90 minutes.
Volunteers get a movie voucher for each shift.

Volunteer Dos and Don'ts

  1. Volunteers are expected to report at their designated time.

    1. If you must cancel, call the main number at 937-530-8013 and leave a message.

    2. Three (3) no-shows/no-calls will prohibit further volunteer opportunities.

    3. If you are sick, call in. Do not come in.

  2. Long hair must be tied back or a hat worn when serving food.

  3. No open-toed shoes (sandals).

  4. Shirts with sleeves must be worn.

  5. No mid-drifts can be showing (no crop tops)

  6. Shorts must be a proper and professional length (no short shorts).

  7. Hands must be washed according to health guidelines.

  8. Gloves are available and can be worn while serving food.

  9. Personal drinking cups or food must be kept away and out of sight from the concession area.

  10. Volunteers should complete an emergency contact card and identify any allergies or medical issues for staff awareness.

  11. Guests of volunteers may not be behind the counter for any reason.

  12. Managers are here to help and to provide instructions to maintain a healthy environment.

  13. Please talk to a manager with any questions and concerns.
